WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?

Yerp..I am emotionally not well. I am now trying to focus on other things. There are other things in life that matters kan?

On a higher note, went to an open house yesterday at Bukit Beruntung. Had so much fun laughing and catching up with old friends. I went alone this time. It was good though as I could just take my time chatting away with my friends.
The best thing about yesterday was I got to meet a long lost friend. We call her AJ. During our degree time, she mysteriously stopped her degree and went away. Everybody kinda like lost track of her. Even her best friend did not know where she was. That was 7 years ago I think...and walla, there she was yesterday..with A YEAR OLD BABY BOY. Gosh..! Everybody was like, u have to tell us from A-Z ok AJ..what happened to u huh? The boy is so la cute..hmm..from his feature, I could tell that she married a foreigner. The hubby was not there though. Nway, we exchanged phone numbers and I hope that we will see more of AJ soon. Kuasa Allah..tak sangka dapat jumpa balik..who would have thought huh?

He lost one of his friends last October and he only found out about it last nite. I on the other hand felt like blurting out all my frustration towards him yesterday but since he told me about the news, and hearing his devastating voice, I just decided to swallow everything and just listened to him. I mean, I was also being silly as usual la kan.
Nway, he felt bad for not being a good friend, for not visiting his friend more often, and more importantly I think, he was upset for putting off his intention to visit him to some other time. Whatever it is, his friend is in a better place and suffers no more. Insya-Allah.

Only the good die young. I was wondering where does the phrase originates from and using my powerful search tool ( Google of course ). This is what I found.

The long history of the saying began with the ancient version, 'Whom the gods love dies young,' and a touching story of how the proverb originated. As told by the Greek historian Herodotus in 'History' (c. 445 B.C.), the story concerns two especially favored youths who, replacing two missing oxen, hitched themselves to a cart and carried their mother to a festival for the goddess Hera. At the temple, the grateful mother asked Hera to reward her sons with the greatest gift anyone might receive, whereupon her sons lay down to sleep and never woke again.

But according to Google, it was a popular song by Billy Joel. But I like this history version better though.

Have a good week everyone.
